This introductory course covers the basic skills needed to kayak with a group in sheltered areas.

This course covers:

  • Efficient forwards paddling

  • Basic maneuvering 
  • Rescuing another kayak that has capsized

Upon completion, you will earn an NPF 'Vaatkort', (Paddle Pass Level 1) this is a requirement to rent a kayak in most places in Norway and other paddle pass countries.
