The Golf Fun activity at Lofoten Links is a fast and fun way to get started with the basics of golfing. All ages can participate and no previous experience is needed, although more advanced golfers are always welcome to join in – maybe as a fun adventure with less experienced family and friends. We gather by the Clubhouse at Lofoten Links, where you get to meet your instructor and get ready for the activity. The size of the group varies from as little as two people to an absolute maximum of 40. As soon everybody has gotten their equipment, the fun can start!
To get you going, we begin at the driving range where we go through the five essentials of a successful golf swing; the grip, posture, backswing motion, balanced finish and even tempo. You will get guidance from professional and friendly instructors, and after some training we pair up two and two for more practice. When you're starting to get a hold of it, we will move to the putting green where you get to try more of the different swings. After a short break, it is finally time to enter the real course where yo get to play 4-7 holes, and use the new skills that you've picked up.

Lofoten Links is located in an interesting historical area with many ancient reminings from the viking age, and is surrounded by great natural beauty. The actual golf course is smoothly integrated into the dramatic landscape with several holes between the cliffs and right by the waterfront. There wildlife in the region is thriving, and whales and seals as well as big sea birds, otters and foxes are often spotted from the course. Between the end of May and the end of July, the course is one of few places it the world where it is possible to play golf under the never setting midnight sun – a truly unique experiences that may next up for you to try!
